Is Promising
This story about a Eld king who's evil brother takes his reign by force, starts very well. There is some unique creatures and the magic as a fresh feel to it. The fast pace of the first quarter of the book is a real page turner. However, the plot slows down quite a lot in the middle of the story and new characters are briefly introduced, which for me disjointed the storyline. Fortunately the last chapter returned to the hard pace, tense action and it ended on a high note that left me wondering what happens next.
An awsome story, well worth reading
The Sword was an awesome book! It was fun and engrossing- I could hardly put it down. The characters were great, and the book had one of the most original plots I've seen in a long time. It quickly won its way to the top of my list with its well-developed characters, spellbinding plot and suspense that kept me glued to the page for hours. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a new, exciting story!
I also recommend The Price of Immortality, it is a great and original story.
Totally Amazing
I read this in one sitting I was that captivated... The characters are gripping and totally likeable... Except Prince Gavril... the half elf Dain and the rebel daughter Alexeika really stand out and you cheer their triumphs and boo their enemies.... I'm a total fan of epic fantasy novels and this one was worth reading...
