Designed for trainee paediatricians, this text presents 100 grey case practice questions and answers which will help candidates prepare for this section of the MRCP Part II (Paeds) examination. Answers give a full explanation and reflect the marking system. The wide range of topics covered and the grouping of questions into mock exams, simulates the exam situation. The exam includes a 55 minute "grey case" section (4-6 cases). Case histories are presented and the candidate is asked for the diagnosis, investigations needed etc. As implied by the name, the diagnosis is not immediately clear. In many cases, more than one answer is acceptable, some more than others and marks are graded accordingly.
