THE musculoskeletal textbook
There are unbelievably few good musculoskeletal texts available - but why should there be when this one does it all? It's a comprehensive text, incorporating both orthopaedics and rheumatology admirably. Easy to understand, including clinical examinations, history taking, paediatric disorders, connective tissue diseases, an atlas of fractures, and much more, it's ideal! At the moment it's getting me through my musculoskeletal placement - it sets diseases and treatment out in a straightforward manner and yet also goes into enough detail to get me (nearly) through my placement! Also, it's not unreasonably priced (unusual for medicine textbook!) so no need to dig too deep....
