Heavy going
I purchased this as it is the recommended text for our paediatric rotation. Having now had time to read I find it difficult to use. The problem for me is that it is a bit like reading a novel as it is solid prose with few diagrams/key facts/summary boxes so the only effective way to read it is cover to cover. This makes it difficult to extract snippets bits of information from if you quickly want to look something up when you see something on the wards.
