This book is included when you complete the BASICS course and although it may prove useful to kick-start your memory, it does not provide any real information about any particular issue. If you were to find yourself in a situation where you may actually seek this book then perhaps you shouldn't really be in that situation!! Of curiosity value only. There are much better books out there, Oxford handbooks, for instance.

The author, Matthew Cooke is a well respected and highly experienced doctor who specialises in both hospital A&E and pre-hospital patient care. This book is well written and illustrated and I would reccomend it to anyone involved in pre-hospital care. Its pocket size is well suited for keeping this book in your coat pocket or SP Medic Backpack.
