a must have5
This book has been in my handbag since I got it. I'm currently revising for exams and it gives me all the anatomy I need to know in bite size pieces from origins and insertions of muscles to courses of nerve and key anatomical structures such as fossae and the carpal tunnel. There's even a bit of applied anatomy covering common pathologies at each site.

It provides a fantastic summary of the detail found in the larger version which I was already a big fan of. I don't think I could ask anymore of this pocketbook. It's a definite must have for any physiotherapy student.

Super pocket sized anatomy book 5
The pocket book is divided into the sections; introduction, upper limb, lower limb, trunk & neck and head & brain. Each section broken down into; bones, articular surfaces, capsule and ligaments, movement at each joint, movement as a whole, muscles and details specific to anatomical area. This clear layout and good indexing makes use of the book simple and efficient. The content is good and covers the anatomy in good detail, especially for such a small book. The best thing I found about this book is the use of excellent coloured diagrams detailing muscle, nerves, movements that make the information so much more accessible, especially if you find visual aids useful to learn from. The yellow boxes throughout the text are great for putting a clinical outlook on what could be just an anatomy book.

Overall this is a great little book for learning or refreshing your applied anatomy.
