Average customer review:Product Description
This book is designed for candidates sitting both the MRCS clinical section as well as undergraduate clinical examinations in surgery, with the objectives of explaining how the examinations work, and of smoothing the process of passing. The 133 cases in the book are carefully framed to allow interpretation for both short cases and OSCEs. In each case an example of the opening instruction is given, followed by a discussion of the steps required to complete the examination and to pass.

Customer Reviews
Concise and very useful
As revison for my clinical exam, this book has provided to be invaluable. The exams are set out in order of how common they are and are well covered in relatively few pages. The questions at the end are also useful as they a reasonably realistic follow-up questions that you may be asked.
The only thing the books lack is colour photos of some conditions which would be useful, otherwise I fully advise using this for your revision.
Really, really great book!
Bought this before my clinical exams and must say it was a life saver. has lots of little tips and tricks that you usually only pick up by actually attanding clinics, so is brilliant if you've never had to examine varicose veins before, and is also great for jogging the memory if you've forgotten. the presentations are listed in the order they are most likley to come up, and the questions after each presentation help you to think about what your gonna get asked about afterwards! really useful book, and small enough to take with you when you walk the dog. 10/10.
Great book for surgery osce practice for surgical finals
useful book to take on wards and exam patients with. has lots of questions to ask each other that could crop up in an osce. good for surgical finals and even before.
