Product Description

A new edition of a very successful book designed to provide students with advice about how to prepare for and carry out their clinical OSCE examinations in general medicine. As well as giving examples of how to carry out the clinical examination it also lists descriptions of typical cases in each medical specialty and at the end of each chapter lists the key questions that are most frequently asked. It also covers the key practical skills required for the OSCE exam as well as giving an overview of the communication skills section.

I couldn't have passed without it!5
Final MB is just the book you need on those nervous run-ups to Finals, it builds confidence, imparts vital lists (i.e, causes of hepato-splenomegaly! etc!) and gives you a framework for examining in a way the examiners want to see. Basically it helps you gain marks for things you wouldn't have thought about doing/saying. Ignore this book at your peril is my advice!
Good luck, not that you'll need it now you've bought this!

Worthwhile buying5
For a final year medical student, this book is well worth the money. It features simple clear lists that are liable to come up in the final examinations, and has the knack of giving you the answer for what is likely to come up in the exam.

So read this book, and the examiner will think that you are a clever and knowledgeable young doctor. This is not meant to be a textbook, but is one of the better revision tools.

Essential for summarising5
Great book that covers cases commonly seen in final medical exams in just the right amount of detail. It's got a good section on chest X rays too.
