Not for last minute revision4
This is a book to buy at the beginning of basic surgical training. It covers anatomy and physiology extensively and relevantly. However it is very condensed material and needs time. It will pay huge dividends if used consistently through your training years providing a syllabus relevant structure that has not been matched elsewhere for comprehensive coverage. Do not buy this as a crammer book. There are some superb ones out on the market.

Good revision book4
Much improved version of this revision book.Recommended to anyone who wants to do serious revision. At times a bit complex in the explanations (hence my 4 stars rather than 5) but a very valuable revision tool

Poor Book2
I found this book difficult to understand. Principles were not explained clearly and logically. I find the passtest books by Catherine Parchment Smith a much more coherent work to study with.
