Excellent guide to operative surgery
Good books on operative surgery are difficult to come by. A vast proportion of basic surgical trainees own and use for revision, the Oxford Handbook of Operative Surgery, although with luck, you can learn all you need to with the Oxford Handbook to pass the MRCS operative surgery viva, this book offers a much clearer understanding of operative general surgery. The detailed text is aided with helpful illustrations. It describes many of the pitfalls that surgeons encounter in day to day practice. The price may be off-putting but to the serious surgical trainee, they will see this book as an invaluable investment
