Hands on anatomy!
This excellent book gives the reader a hands on approach to anatomy, which can be used in the clinic every day. As a physiotherapist currently doing a masters degree I have found it invaluable for both my coursework and my practical sessions and I can highly recommend it for anyone working in the sports world as well as with everyday patients. A must have for anyone from 1st year onwards doing a health sciences or sports science degree, as well as anyone working with the human body on a daily basis.
Excellent resource for sports massage therapists
I found this book excellent. It has photographs of the muscles in situ which, along with diagrams, gives a much better understanding of the anatomy. It is possible to see how the muscles are arranged in life and so understand their functions better. I was also very pleased with the muscle tests included in the book; I found these to be very conscise and easy to understand and for me, it made muscle function more easily understood. I am a sports massage therapist as well as a registered nurse, and I would definitely recommend this book.
