Editorial Reviews

From the Author
This book took two years to write. The intent was to cover completion design as comprehensively as possible and be up-to-date. The approach is a mixture of theoretical knowledge where relevant and hands-on application gained through experience in an oil company and consultancy. The book should appeal to reservoir engineers, drilling engineers and petroleum engineers. The scope of completions covered in the book is broad - reservoir inflow performance for example is covered in detail as is materials. There is an extensive (over 1500) reference list and over 300 colour photographs and drawings.

About the Author
Jonathan is a petroleum and completion engineer with a major consultancy. He travels extensively for a mixture of consultancy projects and training courses related to completion design. He particularly enjoys focussed peer assists and failure investigations.
