Another horror story by Stephen King. Christine, blood-red, fat and finned, was 20. She was Arnie's obsession. There was still a malign power in her that corroded the mind and turned ownership into possession.

Horror, Obsestion and Murder...... A Car???
Being a big fan of the film, I thought it quite neccassary that I read the book. Shocking.
The word passion springs to mind and that is pretty much what the book is about, a nasty little love triangle between Arnie, Christine and Leigh Cabot.
The film does the book no justice and I for one have now read the book twice and am still thrilled at the prospect of reading it again. My advice to anyone who feels that they should read it is: Book a week off work, listen to some 50s - 60s music and ENJOY!!!
Stephen King At His Best in Thrilling Car Horror Tale.
Christine is certainly one of the most well-conceived horror books ever written. Set in late- seventies America, it tells of the obsession of a teenage boy called Arnie who, being a social dropout and having only one true friend, turns to a rusted old 1958 Plymouth Fury. However it isn't long before the car's dead owner comes to haunt Arnie, his only friend, Dennis and his girlfriend , Leah. Dennis' and leah's lives are turned upside down as they attempt to rescue Arnie from the crazed grip of the car's supernatural power. Gripping from start to finish this is another excellent horror tale from Stphen King.
HIGHLY ADDICTIVE READING
This is another SK clasic. A tremendous tale of possesion in every form with twists and surprises that only King can provide. Some of the ideas in here are truly breathtaking, and so well writen it's the sort of book one can read again and again without ever getting bored. Yet again, King has produced a tale supreme horror and suspense, with a great love story to boot(!). King really is one of the all-time great writers, and this book is a clasic example of why. Buy this novel, It will be a friend for life!
