Great...but not for degree level!4
This was on my course reading list in my first year and I blindly bought it. Basically, if you can't do basic calculus, algebra or basic anything for that matter, this book if for you - anyone else need not apply!.... I'm giving it 4 stars as I suppose it does what it does it claims to very well.

Very Good for a Start on Mathematics!5
I am a teacher of Introductory Mathematics for Economics. Traditionally, it is not very easy to find good introductory books of Mathematical Economics.

I consider this book to be one of the best. It covers the most important mathematical concepts and techniques such as functions, differentiation, partial differentiation, integration, differential equations, financial mathematics. In all the chapters the reader will find several progress exercises adequate to an introductory level.

The authors clearly show a great deal of concern with the economic applications. This is one of the best aspects of this book: for every mathematical technique explained, the authors present several economic applications.

If you are an undergraduate student of Economics or Business you will find this book extremely useful. If you are a Professor you will discover several interesting examples of mathematical applications to Economic analysis.

Excellent for those coming to maths after school/university5
While this isn't suitable for those who did quantitative subjects at university, it is absolutely excellent as a text to get you up to speed very quickly. The explanations are clear and very well thought out without sacrificing important concepts.

I couldn't recommend it highly enough as a text book to give you a leg up into more involved mathematical economics.
