Product Description

Control Systems Engineering, now in its Fifth Edition, takes a practical approach to control systems engineering. Presenting clear and complete explanations, the text shows you how to analyze and design feedback control systems that support today′s modern technology.

By working with the same physical system in each chapter, the book′s progressive case studies give you a realistic view of each stage of the control design process while a combination of qualitative and quantitative explanations provide insight into the design of parameters and system configurations. Best of all, you′ll get extensive practice in using MATLAB, Simulink, and the SISO Design Tool––industry standards that you will use in your future career.

Exelant Control theory book5
I bought this book to use with my degree course (Electronic and Electrical Eng), I found this book to be really explanatory and the examples are excellent, knowledge is required for this book but does give examples if the reader has not seen any of the principles before. I would recommend this book if you are doing Control theory at university, as it gives a good grounding, and goes into a good amount of detail, and also gives information on books to read if you want to read more about certain topics for instance Digital filter design.

Great control theory textbook :)5
Hi there :)

It is my pleasure to have bought this for a control subject on campus. I took some time before writing a reasonable and useful review on this textbook.

This book contains rigid foundation and step-by-step problem solving plus real-life examples. Look no further, if you are searching for another good, informative, giving firm understanding on foundations textbook. Undergraduate course is likely to be more suitable due to the aforementioned nature of the textbook.

This textbook is a big competitor to the one from Dorf + Bishop (Modern Control Engineering). Mind you that both of these textbooks are both equally great, with more emphasis on math background for the case of Dorf one.

Good luck for you all :)
