Excellent intro to relational Data Warehousing
By far the best text book on Inmon style relational Data Warehousing I have encountered. The book covers both relational and dimensional methods in a balanced way, being fair to both but also being straight about recommending the former. Particularly, I like the practical sections on how to organize modeling initiatives to achieve results, recognizing it is not a democratic exercise where consensus may be achieved and should be expected, but rather a complicated collaborative effort where participants have different roles to play (irrespective of the chosen modeling style). - Well structured, readable, with many useful figures.
