for clarification of basic principles its excellent
Hi
I bought this on the strength of the description. Its not very deep, but has a broad viewpoint. If you wish for the clearest production of the basic principles or methods alligned to algebra, to allow easier progression to harder topics-abstract algebra- it would be hard to beat.
Its so easy to digest, and printed on high quality paper, so it will last for years on a shelf.
It is expensive, i realise this. If you comfortable with topics in algebra, thats fine. But if your memory just need a bit of revision, its a good book.
Excellent
This book gives a good concise introduction to linear algebra. Has a wealth of exercises with answers, perfect for undergrad students. The book gives a lot of detail for those how are looking for it and is sectioned very well to enable fast study for the lazy undergrad.
