Customer Reviews
Combines theory of hotel management with day-to-day examples
Very good book to start learning about how to manage a hotel. It combines theory and practice.
Theory: the book gives a general overview of the different departments a hotel has. It is not a very deep analysis, but it gives a good general overview of the role and functions of each department.
Practice: The book also contains the opinion of many people currently involved in the hotel business, how they work, typical day, current issues discussion, etc.
However, for an in depth analysis of one specific department/issue, you should look for another book. It is a great book for beginners in the industry.
