Designs from 1929 rather than a treatise on modern designs.2
As it says in the book, 'an unabridged and unaltered republication of the work originally published by The Bruce Publishing Company in 1929'. The book contains information on a selection of single-line kite designs from that period. Construction detailed is from sawn fruit boxes, paper, paste and nails rather than carbon-fibre struts and ripstop fabric. A book of historical interest, readable and at a reasonable price.

Great value, easy to follow instructions, gives top results.4
I found this book to be very easy to follow for the begginer and also some designs challenging for the more experienced kite builder. I built three designs in total and all flew superbly. All meterials are also easily available from any good kite store. All together a bargain considering the very reasonable price.
