Nice on-the-fly reference
I had to write a report for an oscillating water column, and required a reference text on the basics of ocean wave energy conversion. This book fit the bill PERFECTLY! I was able to source matter, theory and concepts I was seeking from this read on-the-fly. Not only is the matter written clearly and concisely, and the math easy to understand (no ultra-heady second order partial differential wave equation derivatives) the superfluous bla bla is minimal. There is also a glossary with a bazillion variables and their respective units, some patent examples, and plenty of sketches that lend toward clarifying the printed matter. Yup, I expect this book to receive heavy usage, and I expect it to have worn and tattered pages.
