Average customer review:Product Description
This is an excursion to the monuments, ruins, statues and bas-reliefs of the Ancient Egyptian temples of Karnak, and a photographic record of this important historic site. Illuminated by the insights of Egyptian scholar R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz, the temples of Karnac reveal the remains of a world devoted to an unimpeachable faith in the afterlife, a faith whose conviction seems to have exalted its builders and artists.

Customer Reviews
stunning ~ superlatives fail me
the photography within this tome is magnificent ~ tho' the picture of the goats flung me a bit! not that ive anything against the creatures ~ quite the opposite in fact. indeed on reflection, this photograph brings the philosophical cosmology into bas relief as well as underpinning karnaks great humanity.
.... i cannot give high enough praise or consideration to the commentaries by schwaller de lubicz ~ they are erudite + thought provoking as well as reasoned. this meeting of egyptology + philosophy is serious stuff + very, very pertinent to scholars of (pharaonic) theology + cosmology as well as egyptology.
the price is hefty, but u will be purchasing not only a scholarly work, but a 'divinely inspired' work of art. the presentation + packaging screams quality + the contents is breath taking.
this is a book that recrowns the notion of books being the epitome of human achievement.
An Excellent Record of Karnak
An excellent record of the Karnak Temples with magnificent photographs. A large and heavy book, well worth the price for those with a serious interest in Egypt
