Concise History of Watercolours
Excellent course study book. Outlines the history of European watercolours from 16thC right up to 20thC. Plenty of illustrations, mostly black & white, (a few more colour plates would have helped). Features all the major, (and not so major )artists and movements of the periods covered. A very useful reference book.
