Beautifully presented and informative..
Yet another book on Alexander the Great? Yes, but what makes this one different is that is it full of beautiful illustrations, copies of paintings, mosaics and a host of other visual delights- all Alexander related. It also contains documents from the ancient historians take on Alexander to the military strategies employed by the Macedonian army. The biographical text itself is also a pleasure to read. Information, information but all wonderfully presented.
If you want to know/ learn about Alexander, see pictures of just about every piece of artwork there is related to the worlds greatest general, and all printed on fabulous glossy paper, then this book is for you.
I have many of books on Alexander, and this is by far one of my favourites.
