One of the world's finest jewellery collections - a sumptous coffe table book
Screen "Goddess" Elizabeth Taylor is not only known for her great acting career, her beauty, her colourful personal life and her HIV work but as well for the impressive jewellery collection: hers is the 33 carat Krupp Diamond ring, the La Peregrina pearl, an antique diamond tiara, the Taj Mahal heart shaped yellow diamond necklace, the Duchess of Windsor diamond brooch and the emeralds of a Grand Duchess of Russia and so on and so on. In her book you find actual-size photos and personal photos of Dame Elizabeth wearing them. It is glamorous book which will appeal to all interested in jewellery and in this great actress and personality. I enjoyed it very much.

Wow, what an absolute gem of a book. It offers a truely beautiful insight into the world of 24ct glamour, passion and total excess. The photography is mesmerizing and as Ms Taylor takes you through both her collection and indeed her life, she presents a fascinating glimpse of a true Hollywood lifestyle. The fact that she adores and treasures her many priceless pieces comes across so clearly. Who else would wear a Cartier ruby and diamond suite whilst playing with the kids under the lawn sprinkler!
For someone wanting to lose themselves on a glum, grey, rainy afternoon, this is the book to curl up with. Its warm, witty and Ms Taylors writing sparkles almost as much as her many, many fine jewels.

Wonderful Eye Candy for Gemlovers!
A large coffee table book, it delivers everything you'd expect from Elizabeth Taylor with pages packed with glamour! There are photographs on nearly every page and most items of jewellery are accompanied by a short story of how Ms Taylor acquired them. For gemlovers, it's a pure delight wandering through the book, admiring some of the world's finest gemstones! It's in no way a book that will tax the mind or give deep insight into gemology but it's a fun, delightful, beautiful and most of all, enjoyable book.
