Mature Student Saviour
As a mature student I found I was struggling with what might be considered basic concepts in Chemistry. Our class all now have this book, and are clear about the distinction between moles that dig tunnels and moles as in Avogrados constant (1 mole = 6x ten to the power of 23). I myself have a great feeling of achievement knowing that I can work out the mass of 0.5 mole of sodium thiosulphate! ( quite where this will help me in my chiropody career has yet to be revealed )

Essential!
Ths book is very good and easy to understand. For GCSE level it covers everything needed relating to moles and a more. For A-level i believe that it is essential for undersatnding the concept of moles, but does not include all. Although it does say it is for GCSE level, i highly recomend it for any A-level chemistry students as it is brilliant and really helped me to understand the topic which is essential for the slightly more advanced.
It is clearly written and easy to understand with the help of some friends along the way - the moles themselves!
