Customer Reviews

Very funny and thoroughly enjoyable4
Very funny and thoroughly enjoyable, says a lot about society. I am studying it for A-Level english and it has amused me greatly!

Description5
This is an offset facsimile of the first printing published in 1899 in London by Leonard Smithers. According to his biographer, Richard Ellmann, Oscar Wilde worked on the design of this text himself.

The Orchises facsimile is printed on Ph balanced paper and is bound in full cloth in sewn signatures; although slightly reduced from the original in size, in most crucial respects it duplicates the original edition.

Elegant but Costly2
Wilde's play of comic intrigue and status has universal themes to appeal to a modern audience. However two slim editions with double postage did not enhance my prospects of becoming Lady Bracknell.
