The Phyiscal background to RS5
Unusually this book clearly and concisely outlines and examines the physics behind many of the remote sensing techniques in use. Whether you need a quick reference book with equations for microwave scattering or BRDFs, a higher level university text, or background material this book is a great buy. Rees has identified a gap in the market and admirably filled it. Sections include: surface scattering , volume scattering (both of which include simple models), photographic systems, lidar, Orbits, and data processing. It would be a perfect complement to a general remote sensing text.

Very detailed book5
The book gives you infoirmation on a varing subject of remote sensing and this inables you to find out the information that you are after very easly. It is fairly easy to read and there is alot of mathematical expenation in the book its self.Its a good book for students who are undertakening a course in remote sensing.
