An excellent collection of papers.
The preface and the first paper, provide a good introduction to modular theories of mind. The inter-disciplinary leaders within the field write the following papers - they provide concise papers, dealing with contemporary issues. The papers are quite accessible, and are progressively set up to give the novice reader a good base from which to tackle the latter papers. Overall, the book is an excellent collection of papers, and perhaps unintentionally, provides a good introduction to some of the main areas within evolutionary psychology. Philosophers, Anthropologist, and Archaeologists alike, will certainly find the book interesting, and perhaps some of its ideas a little controversial - enjoy it.
