Excellent
I am a second year student at the University of Leeds and was attracted by this book initially for its appearance, it is fantastic for helping understand the processes within meteorology and makes good use of diagrams and photos to aid in helping to understand more difficult elements. Overall, a very impressive and attractive book.
Meteorology Today
A must buy book for any 1st year university meteorology students. Great detail and pictures, and explains many weather systems in plenty of detail. Practically the only meteorology book i was advised to buy for my course, and of course if you are interested in meteorology it has all the explanations you'll be looking for from 'Absolute Vorticity' to 'X-Rays' and 'Zonal Winds'.
