3 Stars for the genre - 1 Star for the production3
Unfortunately not the delight I anticipated. It has the feel of having been put together in a radio studio. Road digger noise is faded for a character to deliver his line as though he is in a sound booth. It's a pity the Beeb haven't released (or have they?) Andy Jordan's series of film noir radio plays with genuine Hollywood screen stars playing the leading roles. The Goldhawk/BBC production of 'Fatherland' really raised the bar as far as radio drama production goes and I'm afraid this is no where near.
