Product Description

Four compilations of the hugely popular and award-winning BBC Radio 4 series featuring Jack Dee, Jeremy Hardy and Tony Hawks. "Risky, rude, brilliantly written and superbly performed." - The Judges, Sony Radio Academy Awards. Inspired nonsense and pointless revelry - it's time for another helping of the antidote to panel games in "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue". In this ninth collection, the gang return for further moments of mayhem, puns and one-liners; not forgetting a healthy dose of innuendo and double entendre. Regulars Tim Brooke-Taylor, Barry Cryer and Graeme Garden - and special guests Jack Dee, Jeremy Hardy and Tony Hawks - are given silly things to do by chairman Humphrey Lyttelton. So join Humph and company in these perennial favourites: New Definitions, Swanee Kazoo, One Song to the Tune of Another, Sound Charades and last, but certainly not least, Mornington Crescent. Other exciting rounds include Just a Minim, Swankers and 84 Chicken Cross Road. With the lovely Samantha, bringing up the rear with her laser display board, this compilation is especially for you, Mrs. Trellis of North Wales.

What Is Mornington crescent????5
It is hailed as the antidote to 'quiz shows'! That aroused my curiosity so I bought it. Not only am I now 'cured' but I am absolutely addicted to this little gem of a show. It is very, very funny; very, very clever and the Mornington Crescent GAme will have you on the edge of your seat! Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden are hillarious. Barry Cryer is just a genius and Humphrey Littleton's double entendres with the mysterious Samantha is just outrageous. It is good clean fun though and I could happily listen to it with great aunt Agatha and granma. Definitely one for sunday afternoon tea - but make sure you don't have a mouthful of cake, it really is laugh out loud stuff!

I`M SORRY I CAN`T STOP LAUGHING5
If you`re a fan of isihac then you won`t be dissapointed with this. When i listened to it the tears were rolling down my leg ! If you havent yet heard any of the recordings and you like good humour then this is an absolute must.I am a recent recruit to isihac ( i`m sorry i havent a clue), having only first discovered it about a year ago.I did wonder at first if a Radio 4 `panel game` was going to be my kind of fun or whether it would be more akin to `blue rinse`humour. And , as i can`t abide jazz, seeing the chairman was Humphrey Littleton ,i didnt hold out much hope.I needn`t have worried.I have listened to these tapes in the car and in traffic jams or at the lights, i am often aware of other drivers looking at me wondering what the hell is making me convulse with laughter. As for now..., well, i`m addicted and plan to listen to it on my deathbed so i can die laughing.Hopefully not for many years yet !!I`m only sorry i can`t give it more stars.

The Funniest Thing on Radio5
I listen to this driving in to work. It makes me laugh, even on a Monday morning.

Trouble is, other drivers think I'm insane or laughing at them and give me grief, glowering at me from their cars. That makes me laugh even more.

Give up on Wogan and The Today Programme and get this instead.
