A Review of Little Britain!
Little Britain is an inspiraring show, it is orginal, hilariously funny and the characters are excellent. This show is the gem of modern comedy, in my eyes it stands out above all the rest. It has the mad cap style of classic Father Ted and the unique black humour of the League of Gentlemen - with the two fantastic elements conbied into one remarkable show. Little Britain is the result.
The show is set in Little Britain and throughout the double disc CD we encounter all sorts of bizzare characters.
There's rebellious school girl Vicky Pollard, Daffyd Thomas the 'only gay in the village', Marjowe Dawes the leader of Fat Fighters, not so good transvestite Emily Howard and the Prime Minister and his aid Sebastian.
The CD contains the best of series 1 and series 2 which won a Sony Award in 2002 for the best radio comedy.
Tom Baker rounds the show off providing a God like commentary. Honestly, you will never find a comedy so good - faultless!

An absolutely hilarious collection of all the best bits of the original Radio 4 series if you are one of those people who is unsure whether to spend their money on a product like this or are considering it as a gift your receiver could not be more grateful for any other product but this!

Brilliant show - cut to ribbons!
"Little Britain" is without doubt the funniest thing to come out of the BBC in years. Characters such as juvenile delinquent Vicky Pollard, rubbish transvestite Emily Howard and Fat Fighters leader Marjory Dawes are quickly becoming cult icons thanks to the superb TV follow up. But it was with this radio series that it all began, with Tom Baker's hilarious narration linking these wonderful sketches that had me in hysterics when I first heard them on Radio 4.

So what have the BBC done....? Give us an edited "best of" compilation! WHY? We want the whole series uncut thank you! They can do it for "Dead Ringers", why not "Little Britain?" I've got tapes of all the episodes recorded off air but they're very low quality and I'd love a complete CD release of both series.

I would avoid this edited version like the plague and hopefully the full episodes will be made available some time in the not too distant future.
