Habeas Corpus is one of the funnist plays ever written
Quite simply, Alan Bennett has captured the seventies obsession with sex farce in the 1973 play Habeas Corpus. I am currently performing it with a drama group from Kingston University. It manages to be uproarously funny in a manner reminiscent of the 'Carry on..." films while also providing social commentary on the end of the sixties and the promiscuity that erupted in the seventies. Buy it, read it or even better, go and see it...
