Two plays which can be performed individually or in combination. In "Fairyheart", two 15 year olds deal with ruptured families and homelessness by embracing their hopes and fears in a derelict community centre. In "Sparkleshark", a young boy on top of a council tower block tells stories like a modern day Scheherazade to stop a gang beating him up.

Customer Reviews
It was a touching text and easy to relate to.
The theme running through the book was one of childhood innocence. I've only really gone into depth with Sparkleshark, because I am acting in it, but Fairytale hearts seemed to be running along the same lines as Sparkleshark but with different typecasted roles. I really enjoyed the book and found it exhilarating, and would really like to read a sequel,or background on the characters.
