Engrossing and deeply insight full
I have recentely purchased this book, and have already finished it. A very deep and detailed look at England's cricket during the 1996 World cup. Relives the glories of the subcontinent and all its maladies, very well written. If there is a criticism more could have been written about other matches during the tournament. Nonetheless a very good cricketing read.
Excellent book on the sub continent
Excellent travelogue on the World cup - spiced with sarcasam , humor , info and love for cricket - read it recently and really enjoyed it
