Very useful, essentail for any A-level History student
For anyone doing any exams in British History or just has a general interest in it this is an excellant book to have. It contains more or less everything needed for a student that is doing A-level British History and presents it in a way that is clear and easy to understand. It also contains several summary sections which are useful for last minute revision and has many examples of sources which can may come up in the exam. Overall if you are studying this subject this book is a must.
fantastic
Proff Eric Evans is a leading historian in the period, and this fantasticly writen, thematicaly chaptered book, can be credited with getting me through my a-level history. i was given more than 10 other books (by well known historins) by my teaches, but none of them had the clarity, or the readability of this book.
