Customer Reviews

A very creative way to practice vocabulary!4
This is a very good book (as most of Jill Hadfield's). You can practice vocabulary related to parts of the body, shapes, food, hobbies, sports, weather, family, parts of the house, jobs, movements, town and street features, countries and nationalities among many others. Activities included are of different types: guessing games, matching up, puzzle solving, exchanging and collecting, etc. It's really a good book and enjoyable for students. I didn't rate it with five stars, because I think there could have still been a wider variety of activities (most games are based in playing with picture cards, and the same kind of game can be played with most topics). They could have included board games, role plays, information gap, etc. However, you will find in this book an endless source of ideas and the material can be adapted to your needs.
