Not the best for French Law students.
This text gives only an introduction to the French legal system and even then it is a little shallow in depth. It helps but, for an average student, is not worth purchasing. However if you are studying French Legal language then I imagine that it would be more helpful than to those just studying French Law.

An excellent introduction to French Legal Language
An excellent practical introduction to French Legal Language in the context of a very clear outline of the basics of the French Legal System. There are excellent reading and writing exercises and a full vocabulary throughout. There is companion book in English by Catherine Elliott and Catherine Vernon also published under the Longman imprint. The English book provides an in depth introduction to the French Legal System, while this book's emphasis is on acquisition of French Legal Language.
