Step by Step examples, Rules laid out in clear, Exercises
I am presently struggling with A-level maths and have found this book an excellent guide. This book should be used as a course text not only for maths subjects but also for Physics. I am now buying the remainder of the set for A-level maths by the same author. Over all the book requires a back ground knowledge of the subject and maybe needs occasionaly a teacher to explain some of the difficult areas, but anyone who has been baffled in class and needs step by step instruction this book will do it. All I can say is that although no book has all the awnsers this book could awnser most of them.

Advanced Algebra
An excellent revision text for A level algebra

Not for beginners as there is not much explanation of theory as this is presumed but still highly recommended for those wanting to extend their algebra skills.

Plenty of exercises with the first few shown in steps.

A good introduction into advanced algebra
This book is not for the beginner in algebra obviously given the title but I found it helpful whilst studying my Maths A level.

Useful for revision or a pocket guide.
