Simply Essential
This book, written by the best of the best at UEA ENV, covers almost every subject required for any Environmental Science course. It leads perfectly onto more detailed areas but still gives a pretty comprehensive view of everything it covers in an easily accesable way. Quite simply it is essential, and with great reviews from such people as James Lovelock and HRH The Prince of Wales there isn't much more to say.

a very useful subject book
I find this book offered a very good general view of environmental science. It is a very good book to start research with to get the basic to some detail with can be built upon. I did a degree in environmental management and found i used this book the most throughout my degree course. This book would be good for any undergraduate studying environmental management/science especially as it suggests further reading for more technical indepth.
