Customer Reviews
Handy and efficient just how guide books should be.
I bought two Ultimate Film Guide books, during my year studying AS level Film Studies. I found it extremely useful for last minute cramming and to have evidence throughout my assignments. There is no personal criticism about the film which means there is a broad variety information for you to read, from talking about theories of "Bulldog-drummondism" to why Pussy Galore got her name...do you need to ask more? It also goes back to the history of Ian Flemming to the huge marketting value it has to Bond fanatics.
However, the information does not go into too much depth, but does give efficient evidence to become knowledgeable on the film.
An ideal guide for students, as we start to wonder why Bond films are on its twenty something sequel. It has also converted me to appreciate Goldfinger from a kitsch 70's movie to a cult phenomenon; most of the information you get will not be accessible from watching the film. So it's a handy one to buy.
