Claire Macdonald and her husband run Kinloch Lodge Hotel on the Isle of Skye, which is also the family home for them and their four children. Claire is a well-known exponent of Scottish cooking and travels widely, lecturing and demonstrating recipes.

This is a truly wonderful cookery book, packed full of interesting and slightly different recipes. Her puddings, cakes and bread recipes are to die for. I would recommend this and all her other books [I have everyone of them] to anyone.

Now my favourite Cookery Book
I am so pleased with this book. I had been looking for a really good Cookery Book for ages. Then on a trip to a friend in Scotland found Claire. The dishes in this book are truely delicious, and work every time.
