Editorial Reviews

Review
Part of the "Your Home, 100 Bright Ideas for" series, this volume focuses on soft furnishings: curtains, cushions, lampshades, blinds and bed-linen to name just a few. Divided into styles such as classic, floral, pastel and bold, it offers a vast number of inspirational ideas with which to enhance your home. Each project is clearly explained, accompanied by a colour photograph and estimated project time so you know in advance how long it will take to make. From quick one hour or less projects such as button cushion covers, flowery kitchen tables and leaf design prints to the longer, slightly more challenging projects such as garden chair cushions, padded headboards and beaded runners. Innovative twists to the norm such as bangle curtain tiebacks, tea towel seat covers and scented pocket cushions mark this book out from the plethora of books on the subject, giving value for money along with novel decorating ideas. - Lucy Watson
