About the Author
Eleanor McKenzie is a Reiki Master who trained under Masters from the International Reiki Alliance. She has had a Reiki practice in London for several years. She is the author of Healing Reiki and Chi Kung and also the co-author of Thai Bodywork and PilateSystem.

Excellent Source!!!
A great reference and source book to get startet with the practices of Reiki. It has good and solid information as well as easy descriptions for those willing to imply the treatment and for those in need of the treatment.

Both I and my husband enjoyed reading the book advised by our Master and decided to have a copy of our own.

An easily understood guide to the simplest form of healing
This format works so well for those who are thinking of experiencing reiki for the first time, be it by receiving it or by training for their reiki 1 &/or 2. It lays out the basics you may need to know to make learning it that much easier & clears any fear you may have had about receiving it. The pictures are very clear & help enormously with the specific hand positions you will need to know as a practitioner. It could not be any clearer if it tried, it's like a words & picture book for the grown up "spiritual traveller" on their path to fulfillment. This was the first book on the subject I bought when I began my training & now I am a qualified Reiki 1 &2 practitiooner & I still have a flick through to reaffirm a few points every now & then. So overall, very clear, very instructive & a great guide to the gentlest form of healing.

Extremely open and helpful
This book is excellent, very clear and open to interpretation, written without ego! As a Reiki level I, I found that it encouraged ways of using Reiki which I did not think were open to me yet, i.e. cleansing my house by using reiki on the walls. I know that I will be able to use this book as I go through all of Reiki journey and recommend it to all walking this path - enjoy!
