Easy to follow and beautifully presented
I love this book, it makes me very excited about preparing foods for kids. It contains beautiful photography but also interesting and relatively simple recipes.
Not only is it sensible in its advice but it's friendly tone doesn't sound dictatorial.
It includes simple suggestions as to how one meal can be adapted to suit all members of your family. It includes simple ingredients and some more unusual ones too. It's recipes lots of new recipes include adaptations of tradition children favourite's i.e. Toad and Roots. They don't suggest that you to make faces and characters with the food - let's face it who has the time.
In short this is lovely book and I would recommend it to everyone with kids particularly those with a second child - just weaning.
a tasty read
A bright and colourful book with good ideas for good food. The instructions are easy to follow, don't require too many "exotic" ingredients and the end products are very tasty. Useful ideas too for what is suitable for babies and how to substitute for those too young (usually under 1 year) to enjoy the receipe.
Good Food for Kids
Borrowed this book for the local library when looking for some inspiration and that is exactly what it provided. Lots of good, simple recipes, using store cupboard ingredients and very little effort - always a selling point. It is so good I bought my own copy!
