Customer Reviews
Fast paced, suspence packed yet believable.
I am thrilled to have come across this book. It relates the story of a normal everyday American couple and their little girl who get entangled in a corrupt conspiracy. The terrific character and plot development make it utterly believable and full of suspence. It is an excellent read.
Be careful this book has a special cover .
The cover of this book has a special glue that sticks to your fingers and wont let go untill you turn the last page!!
This is a griping tale that has so many twists and turns that after a session of intense reading you feel quite dizzy.
I pride myself in been able to work out a plot in a book within the first chapter but this book kept me going right to the final page.
All I can say is just buy it you wont regret it.
Baldacci at his best
I originally found David Baldacci as a writer through an Amazon recommendation and I have avidly read all his stuff since. His writes very well, with good flow and imaginative use of personal feeling descriptions. This book is up there with his best. Good strong characters put into traumatic situations where we feel their problems and grief and then share their doubts as they encroach on their psyche. A good plot, not overly complicated but with a lot happening and progressing with the book - and some surprises. Definitely worth reading and worth buying.
