Shame about the font size!
Sound academic scholarship! The introductory essay on how Indo-European is put together is really useful. The dictionary itself is organised alphabetically according to the Indo-European roots and at the back of the book there is an English dictionary to find the roots of modern-day words. Each route is cross-referenced and thoroughly explained with simple and clear definitions for the assumed meanings of the roots. My only criticism (which is why I did not give it 5 stars) is that the type-face is far too small. At only 192 pages, the book does not have the feel of a dictionary but rather that of a thin academic text book. I only wish the publishers had printed the dictionary in a type-face the same size as that used in the introductory essay.
