Customer Reviews
The theory of time travel explained for mere mortals...
In this book, J Richard Gott has managed very successfully to balance scientific theory and technical information with a basic explanation for the general public.
The book begins with an exploration of time travel through science fiction, novels and films, and progresses to explain whether or not they are scientifically accurate, everything from H G Wells to Back to the Future. The book also reflects on how time travel could be a possibility for the start of the universe, and theories about the big bang.
I found the book very easy to understand and follow, with all of the science explained in layman's terms, a good read and a fascinating insight into the world of time travel.
