Excellent Introduction to African Philosophy
This book was one that I bought purely out of curiosity and having no idea about this area of philosophy. Unlike many of the other volumes in this series it has a historical dimension and covers all major topics of philosophy. It lends a new perspective for those of us used to a very western european slant to their studies and I would strongly recommend it to anyone with and interest in African studies or philosophy.
