Great last minute revision help
I'm a third year medical student and was struggling to get to grips with our NME module but this book was a bit of a life-saver. I used it for 3 days leading up to exams and it got me through nicely.
It sticks to the 2 page spread per topic and sometimes you want just that little bit more. Worth it though.
Clear and reliable.
This book is written for medical students and junior doctors, but it is so good, it should have a wider public. It covers 48 topics, with two pages for each topic; line illustrations on one page and text on the other. The text is very clear and provides an excellent summary. The illustrations are also very clear and informative. As an author of books for the general public on digestive health,
Probiotics for Crohn's and Colitis
Coping Successfully with Ulcerative Colitis (Overcoming Common Problems)
Coping with Diverticulitis
I have used the book to check information on Diarrhoea and on Gastroenteritis. This was clear, and reinforced information I had collected from other sources. As a former Director of the National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease, I can confirm that the section on inflammatory bowel disease is accurate. Dr Keshav has done a superb job with this very useful book.
